BlackNova started as one truck, one starlight retrofit, and a few late-night requests from friends in the Toronto music scene. Three years later, it's a fleet of twelve and a waiting list.
We don't drive during the day. We don't own a single truck that isn't black. We don't take bookings outside the GTA. The constraints are the brand.
The first truck was an Escalade we picked up in Mississauga and retrofitted in a friend's body shop. The starlight ceiling came from a kit shipped from Stuttgart, hand-set across two weekends with a friend who used to wire Maybachs. We posted one photo. The DMs didn't stop.
Today, BlackNovaTrucks is a small, family-run operation based off Dupont. We've moved Drake's hairdresser, the Raptors' bench, three Junos winners, and roughly four thousand strangers who just wanted one night to feel like the city was theirs.
We still answer every DM. We still build every ceiling by hand. And we still don't drive during the day.
Black only
Twelve trucks, zero exceptions. We don't lease, paint, or rent in.
Night only
We dispatch 6pm to 6am. Daylight bookings politely declined.
GTA only
Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville. We don't cross 401 west of Oakville.
